2010 Cultural Arts Award Winners

ERICA SOELBERG, from Arizona is the 2010 Vocal winner.  Erica resides in Mesa, Arizona with her husband, Alan and their 3 daughters. Erica is first and foremost a wife and mother.  Once a week she teaches ballet classes at her own studio to young girls.  She is also the creator and teacher of Performers, Inc. a musical theater workshop for children.  Erica graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2002.  Erica loves to sing and tries to as often as possible.  She has recorded a CD with Glen Campbell Management and has recorded songs for various religious CD's.  Some of her awards include KNIX Radio Search for a Desert Star finalist at Celebrity Theater and Music Finalist at the Red River Opry.  Erica often sings for weddings with her jazz band, at church, political events and community events.  Her most recent performances include singing at the Phoenix Diamond Back Stadium and at a benefit concert for the Nielsen family alongside American Idol's Brook White.

JENNY HARRIS MECHAM, from Utah is the 2010 Piano winner.  Jenny is from Utah where she received a Bachelor of Arts from Utah State University in Piano Performance.  She also has a Master of Music degree from Houston Moores School of Music.  She is a member of MTNA, Music Teacher's National Association, the Arizona State Music Teacher's Association, and is currently a private piano instructor.
