Delaware mom wins National ‘Mother of the Year’ award


For the second time in its more than 80 year history, the National “Mother of the Year” is from Delaware.

Middletown resident Michelle Wall claimed top prize from American Mothers, the nonprofit created by Eleanor Roosevelt and J.C. Penny, among others in 1935.

American Mothers supports and encourages mothers both at home and in the workplace, and offers its coveted title to a woman nominated by someone for outstanding excellence both at home and in her community. Read More
