If you live in the Portland area....this year’s Angel Tree Project promises to be a fun opportunity to participate in on several levels. First, what is more fun than seeing all of your friends from American Mothers during the Holidays! Second, is wrapping Christmas gifts for 180 special children whose parents are in prison.
The Angel Tree Project has been such a heart warming activity each year as we gather to bless the lives of others in need. In fact, the funds from the Evening of the Arts, sponsored by the Oregon Association of American Mothers, and the wonderful artists who participated in that event helped us purchase the gifts we give for the Angel Tree Project.
Here are the specifics for the day:
What: The Annual Holiday Angel Tree Project
Where: First Covenant Church, 107 NW 45th, Portland, OR Between Glisan Street and Burnside (Parking is in back of the church.)
When: Friday December 3rd, 2010
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
What to Bring: A holiday potluck dish to share for lunch. Scissors and tape if possible.
