National Convention

Mil abrazos,
We had a wonderful time.  Below is a link to a video and a couple of pictures taken at the NMOY and NYMOY Gala at the Waldorf.  Enjoy it!

- Thanks for sharing the inreivtew with Dr Bernard Amadei. It was interesting to hear his perspective towards development work. Also, his description of the EWB model addressed the blog posted question quite well; EWB does offer an opportunity for long term commitment to the project communities.Keep up the good work, Travis!

You'd think that a bakery would have two very basic thngis: a list of commonly-used words for such thngis, and the training would include at least a little planning and knowing how to space letters so that it all fits. It's just common sense, isn't it? I mean... I know I'm quite an intelligent person, but am I really THIS much smarter than SO many people? *facepalm*

Kaan I'm breaking the bank on this one, but for this good cause, it's worth it!! I think reatolaixn is really important. It makes you feel free, alive, like you're flying, almost. The closest I can imagine to actually flying would be climbing something awesome, in a cape (how is this more like flying than jumping out of a plane, you ask? You're going UP, obviously). Ideally (but not necessarily) with a speedo and a bandito-style face covering. This way I can live vicariously through you, both as a rock-climber, and a super-hero.
