American Mothers, Inc. is heading to Nashville for the Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) International Convention (www.mops.org) this week! We’re so excited to be given the opportunity to align ourselves with an organization that has as strong of a passion for reaching, teaching, and honoring moms as we do and be able to extend our message and promote the important role of motherhood to thousands of attendees!
Personally, I am eager to meet and connect with other mothers that have or are going through the life stage in which I am about to come face-to-face with. You see, my daughter, Kate, will be starting preschool in just a couple of weeks, and as a first-time mom, I have a number of feelings about this event. I’m excited, scared, and needless to say, a little anxious. So, the chance to attend the MOPS convention could not have come at a better time. I am thrilled to have the chance to share and learn life lessons from moms of other preschoolers. I hope that talking with them will make me more comfortable as a mom, and I’m sure it will! Saying that I am thankful for this opportunity barely begins to cover it!
On a different note, though, I am also eager to promote this extraordinary organization, American Mothers, that I am so blessed to be a part of. American Mothers prides itself on reaching, teaching and honoring moms across the country, and I believe that the MOPS convention is the perfect opportunity to do this. I invite you to join us at the convention or, if you can’t make it to Nashville, keep in touch with us by visiting our website, www.americanmothers.org.
