All 2020 Mother of the Year honorees will meet to learn about American Mothers and get the inside scoop on how to make the most of the annual convention. Honorees will meet a few members of the Board of Directors and use this time discover more about one another.

Legacy Reception: “Hats Off to AMI“
Celebrate 85 years of American Mothers, Inc. with past and present Mother of the Year® and Mother of Achievement honorees. All registered attendees are invited to attend and encouraged to wear a hat to keep with the theme! Tickets for this event are $50 and may be purchased here.
Attendees are free to enjoy dinner on their own.

Registered attendees will enjoy breakfast while we take a look at the past year for American Mothers, Inc. and discuss where the organization is heading. This special luncheon celebrates the 2020 National Mother of Achievement and the significant impact and philanthropic accomplishments of one of our country’s greatest treasures. Tickets for this luncheon are $125 and may be purchased here.

Attendees will have the opportunity to rapidly expand their knowledge on four to five different subjects in 30-minute increments during these informative and engaging sessions. Thought leaders and industry experts will share their ideas and insight on a variety of topics like kids & social media, diversity & inclusion, and more! A highlight of the National Convention is our time spent meeting with elected officials from our home states. Never been on Capitol Hill? Not to worry! This panel discussion will prep you for meaningful dialogue with your Congressional delegation.

This glamorous and patriotic evening is the piece de resistance of the annual convention. During this memorable event, notable State Associations, leaders, and members will be recognized and the 2020 National Mother of the Year® and Golden Rule Grant winners will be announced. All proceeds will benefit the American Mothers, Inc. Golden Rule Grant Fund. Tickets and tables for this gala event may be purchased here.

Many U.S. Senators have a standing appointment to meet with their constituents on Wednesday mornings while Congress is in session. Convention attendees are welcome to head back to Capitol Hill to spend time with their elected officials before heading home.
