Nevada 5th grader, Emmy, was chosen as the National 5th Grade Essay Contest Winner for her essay, “What My Mother Means to Me”.
Emmy read her essay to her mother at the 83rd Annual American Mothers Convention during the literary luncheon, at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C.
Emmy also led the Pledge of Allegiance at the Gala where the National Mother of the Year® was named.
American Mothers annually hosts a 5th-grade student essay contest, “What My Mother Means to Me.” The contest runs from August 15th thru December 15th.
