American Mothers Inc. Appoints New Interim CEO

American Mothers Inc. is pleased to announce that on March 16, 2020 it appointed Jodi Hanson Bond of Quantum Wave Strategies as Interim CEO of the organization. Jodi will lead American Mothers in its continued mission of harnessing the power of maternal energy to make a positive impact in the world. Jodi will develop for American Mothers a strategic fundraising, membership and operational plan to drive the next phase of growth and new member outreach for American Mothers. Jodi will also serve on the search committee for a permanent CEO.

Jodi is first and foremost a caring and devoted mother to her beautiful daughter. She brings a depth and breadth of executive level experience to American Mothers, including as EVP and Head of Global Government and Industry Affairs for Chubb Limited and as SVP of the International Division at the U.S. Commerce. Her portfolio included head of executive management for the Association of American Chambers of Commerce in Latin America and the Caribbean, and as Head/President of each the U.S.-Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, and Mexico Business Councils.

Prior to joining the Chamber, Jodi was VP of Global Government Relations and Country Management for the Motorola Corporation. She managed global government advocacy in 165 countries, coordinated among 70 Country managers, and served as head of Country Management for the Americas Region and Israel. Before that, Bond was appointed deputy assistant secretary at the U.S. Department of Energy for national security and congressional affairs, and held positions with the law firms of Hopkins & Sutter and Foley & Lardner, the U.S. House of Representatives, and the Washington State House of Representatives.

Bond holds a B.A. in politics from Whitman College and an M.A. in government from Johns Hopkins University. She studied comparative and international politics at the University of London. Bond serves on the Board of Directors of Fifth Street Asset Management (NASDAQ: FSAM), and Refugees International. She is also a member of the Economic Club of Washington and Women Corporate Directors.
