
Congratulations to Lauren from Springfield, Illinois for being named our 2019 National 5th Grade Essay Contest Winner! Lauren will receive an invitation to our Golden Rule Gala in Washington, D.C. on April 30th where she will be presented with a Golden Rule Grant for a charitable cause of her choice.
The National 5th Grade Essay Contest began in 2004 as a tribute to the mother of Irene Blore, our 1995 California Mother of the Year®. The contest is open annually from August 15th to January 15th for 5th grade students to answer the question, “What My Mothers Means to Me,” in 150 words or less.
