Two non-profit organizations join to honor 2018 Mothers of the Year®
Washington, D.C. (March 2, 2018) – – American Mothers, Inc. is pleased to announce that SoldierStrong, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing advanced medical technologies to veterans, is sponsoring the 83rd National Convention of American Mothers, Inc. in Washington, D.C. The annual event will take place April 22-24, 2018 at the historic Mayflower Hotel.
“For more than eight decades, the American Mothers organization has worked to bring attention to the powerful contributions moms are making around our country,” said Connell Branan, President of American Mothers, Inc. “SoldierStrong has an incredible passion for serving others, and we’re excited about the opportunity to partner with them on this most meaningful occasion.”
Each Spring, the American Mothers National Convention brings together hundreds of community leaders and women of influence to meet the organization’s mission of “honoring, educating and serving mothers at home, at work, and in the world.” During the convention, Mother of the Year® and Mother of Achievement honorees from across the 50 states, District of Columbia, and the Commonwealths of Puerto Rico are honored. Delegates will meet with members of Congress to discuss issues impacting mothers and families in the United States. The highlight of the convention is the naming of the 2018 National Mother of the Year® at our patriotic gala.
