What is your favorite memory as a mother?

My favorite memory as a mother is actually the very day that both daughters were born. At the very moment my oldest daughter was born my world completely changed and I now had a purpose. I had an overwhelming feeling of pure love, a love that I would be able to protect, nurture and care for in the very way I had always prayed for. The second most memorable moment was the day her sister arrived and now all was complete and having my two daughters was simply my dream now being realized.

What is the best or worst “mom purchase” you’ve ever made and why?

The best mom purchase I feel that I make are our vacations that we are able to take. During our difficult times we would go to places closer to home for extended weekend stays. We would bring along friends and have the best of times and still to this day these will always be our best memories. The worse and saddest purchase was our first dog one Christmas day, who had a severe bladder problem and caused several thousand dollars of damage to our home thus causing heartache and hardship.

Any special comments or additional information you would like to share:

I have always believed that having a sense of humor is so important when raising my daughters. We always played tricks on each other, joked around with each other, celebrating April Fools was typically an Acar household holiday. The sounds of laughter always seem to make everything feel right, even during hard times, I believed humor seemed to make everything ok. To this day we always focus on having fun and making the best out of every situation.
