Stefanie Hanson was born and raised in Montana, graduating from Flathead High School in Kalispell before earning her bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from Idaho State University. While she once planned to pursue dentistry, life led her in a different direction when she returned home, met her husband, and chose to build her life around faith, family, and community. Married for 15 years, Stefanie and her husband are proud parents to Justin (12) and Annie (9), who are the heart of their world. Today, Stefanie channels her passion and energy into real estate as the owner of Beckmans Real Estate, where she leads a successful team and brokerage. Known for her warmth, resilience, and dedication, Stefanie finds joy in helping families find their place to call home, while cherishing the life she and her family continue to build together.
Parenting Philosophy
As parents, our philosophy is rooted in faith, love, and the belief that children thrive when they feel deeply known, supported, and valued. We see parenting as both a responsibility and a privilege— an opportunity to guide our children not only through milestones and challenges, but also into becoming kind, capable, and resilient individuals. We strive to balance structure with grace. Clear boundaries and expectations give Justin and Annie the stability they need, while encouragement and compassion provide the freedom to learn from mistakes. We believe in teaching accountability by modeling it ourselves, showing that character is built not by being perfect, but by being willing to learn, grow, and try again. Our home is centered on open communication and trust. We encourage our children to ask questions, express their feelings, and share their dreams, knowing that their voices matter. We also emphasize gratitude, service, and community, teaching that true fulfillment comes not just from personal success, but from helping others and living with integrity. Above all, we want our children to know they are unconditionally loved. We celebrate their unique gifts, encourage their passions, and remind them that their worth is never tied to achievement. By creating an environment of love, respect, and faith, we hope to give them the confidence and courage to face life’s challenges with resilience and joy.
Motherhood and Community
One of the most meaningful parts of my life has been building and leading Beckmans Real Estate. Helping families achieve home ownership is about so much more than buying a house—it’s about helping them find a place to create memories and put down roots. I’ve walked alongside first-time buyers who never believed they’d qualify for a home, and the joy on their faces when they finally hold the keys is unforgettable. Just as rewarding has been mentoring my agents. Watching them grow confident, succeed financially, and provide better lives for their own families has been incredible. Their victories feel like family victories, and it’s a blessing to know that my work has a ripple effect far beyond the office. Serving on the West Valley School Board for the past five years has also been life-changing. As a mom, I joined to make a difference in my own children’s lives, but it quickly became clear that the responsibility stretched to all 810 students. Some decisions have been difficult, but focusing on what is best for the children has always been my guide. Seeing kids thrive because of programs or resources we’ve supported fills me with pride and gratitude. It has also shown my children, Justin and Annie, that leadership is about service and courage —even when no one is watching. Finally, being part of Mikayla’s Miracles and Blessings through Sabrina’s Wishers Program has touched me in profound ways. Delivering backpacks and gas cards to high schoolers who are quietly struggling, sharing meals with families at Christmas, or placing gifts under a tree for a child who might otherwise go without—these moments remind me of the importance of compassion. I’ll never forget the tears of gratitude from a parent who said the holiday meal we delivered was the only one they would share together that season. These activities—real estate, school board service, and community outreach—have shaped my heart as much as they’ve impacted others. They remind me daily that faith, generosity, and love create lasting change, both in my family and in the community I cherish.
