The mission of the Freedom School Oklahoma City, Inc. is to ensure each childe in underserved communities has a healthy start, a head start, a fair start, a safe start and a moral start in life. Freedom School helps children develop a love of reading while increasing self-esteem and generating positive attitudes toward learning. The grant was awarded in honor of Maurtra Staley Jones, the 2021 National Mother of the Year® from Oklahoma.
Robbie Foundation raises funds to provide adaptive equipment, assistive technology, therapy treatment. or any necessary item needed to improve the quality of life for children with special needs and to cultivate awareness regarding the special needs community. The grant was awarded in the category of Survivor Mother in honor of Lynn Gierie, 2021 Maine Mother of the Year®.
